Rotary Global Travelers will have the opportunity to visit three amazing Himalayan Kingdoms: Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. This will be a completely guided tour with some time for independent exploration. This tour will be arranged by Gokul Thapa Nepal, a fellow Rotarian from Kathmandu, through Real Himalaya Private Ltd. Travelers will book their own round-trip airfare to Kathmandu, Nepal. All other ground and air transportation will be provided.
Join us to explore and take in the breathtaking Himalayan views. Marvel at multiple UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Buddhist Stupa of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, a world-famous Hindu shrine, and Potala Palace in Bhutan. Immerse yourself in the daily life of the people and feel the charm of these ancient cities. Additionally, there will be opportunities to visit two Rotary clubs and partake in two service projects that are in the planning stages.
