Every New Year’s Day, the world watches the spectacular Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. Rotary first participated in the 1923 parade and has had a float in it every year since 1980.
This year’s official parade theme was The Magic in Teamwork, and Rotary’s own message for 2025-26, Unite for Good, fit perfectly with that spirit of collaboration and service.
This year, our float showcased wildlife working in harmony, just as Rotarians unite for good across borders and around the world to create lasting change.
Everything on the float is natural, including flowers, seeds, bark, and leaves.
Would you like to be part of this amazing experience? You can learn more about how to help build the float, decorate it, or even ride on it by visiting the official Rotary Rose Parade Float site at rotaryfloat.org. There are opportunities to volunteer as a decorator, walker, or float rider, plus ways to support the project and celebrate Rotary’s message on New Year’s Day
