Travel to Cuba is a combination of sightseeing, providing basic and medical supplies for our friends there, meeting existing and potential Rotarians, learning about the culture and daily struggles. We will check in on several places where we have helped in the past: a Montessori preschool, elementary school, farm to table restaurant, beekeeper, women’s craft shop, art studio, doctors and rural clinics.
We will be staying in privately owned Airbnb’s and eating in privately owned restaurants to support the everyday Cuban.
(Havana (2 nights) Vedado (1 night) Miramar, La Terrazas, Vinales(2 nights) Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos (3 nights) and Trinidad (1 night).
